For this milestone, you will submit a brief summary of your memo to a business owner and your overall approach to the assignment, addressing context and the tools and methods used. First, you will restate your assignment from the business owner and explain why this task is relevant given the role of information technology (IT) in business management today. You will then explain how you went about identifying solutions that address the business owner’s concerns.

This milestone will give you an opportunity to explore the system development life cycle (SDLC) approach and to receive feedback from your instructor before being asked in the final project to explain how the approach can help document and inform IT decisions in this case.
